Food to take away or to pick up: Yes, our Lohmühle restaurant in Bayreuth also offers the option of ordering dishes from our well-known and excellent cuisine in advance and taking them with you. The pick-up service is available during lockdown and beyond, during normal business hours.
You can choose from meat and fish dishes, vegetarian dishes and desserts. The take-away menu can be viewed at any time on the website of our hotel and restaurant Lohmühle in Bayreuth.
Our kitchen, awarded the medal "Bavarian kitchen competition", is known for Franconian and international specialties. We attach great importance to sustainability and the use of food from the region. Our restaurant is also particularly appreciated for our fish cuisine. The freshwater fish live in the in-house water tank, which is directly connected to the Red Main, before they are professionally processed.
For us, sustainability doesn't just mean saving energy wherever possible. Among other things, we also rely on short delivery routes and maximum freshness: Our food therefore comes almost exclusively from the region. In this way we support producers in the area and avoid long transport routes. We also attach great importance to sustainability in our take-away offer. In order to save packaging waste and avoid the use of plastic, we rely on biodegradable containers. Our meals are packed in compostable boxes. After they have been filled, these remain sealed for up to three hours. We would like to ask you to bring a shopping bag or a basket with you for transport, so that the idea of sustainability can also be taken into account here. We also work with the “ Vytal ” reusable system.
